We set aside one percent. Not for the planet. The planet already has lawyers. For the week the maps stop matching the ground.
Every order contributes 1% to a fund that buys spare snaps, dry bags, and the occasional roof for a trail crew that did not ask to be in a catalog. We publish the number once a year. It is never round.
Last year: $4,187.20. Spent on stitchers, a generator, and a crate of oats. No plaques.
